Comedy icons Steve Martin and Martin Short are officially hitting the road again in 2026 with a brand-new tour titled The Best of Steve Martin and Martin Short, following their hugely successful 2025 run, The Dukes of Funnytown! The upcoming tour promises a fresh dose of quick-witted banter, musical performances, and the duo’s trademark friendly roasting that fans have come to love over the years.

Set to kick off in late January 2026, the new leg of the tour will feature both Martin and Short performing together in a series of cities across the United States, joined by Jeff Babko and the acclaimed bluegrass band The Steep Canyon Rangers. Known for blending sharp humor with top-tier musicianship, the pair’s live shows have been described as “a show that redefines the form,” mixing fast-paced jokes, Hollywood satire, and heartfelt camaraderie.

According to reports from The New York Post, the 2026 tour will begin on January 29 in San Antonio, Texas, at the Majestic Theatre, followed by two nights in Austin at the Bass Concert Hall on January 30 and 31. The tour will then continue into February with stops in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Miller High Life Theatre on February 27, and two shows on February 28 at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota, including an early performance.

In March, the comedy duo will take their show to Washington, D.C., performing at the DAR Constitution Hall on March 13, followed by two shows in Hershey, Pennsylvania, at the Hershey Theatre on March 14—one early and one late show. The tour then heads south in April, with performances scheduled in Savannah, Georgia at the Johnny Mercer Theater on April 11, Birmingham, Alabama at the BJCC Concert Hall on April 12, and two closing nights in Cleveland, Ohio at the KeyBank State Theatre on April 25 and 26.

This announcement follows their still-ongoing 2025 Dukes of Funnytown! Tour, which continues through early December 2025 with remaining dates in cities like Boston, Akron, Pittsburgh, Albany, and Wallingford. Details for those shows can also be found through the Boch Center’s official site and other major venue listings.

As longtime collaborators and friends, Martin and Short have shared the stage for decades, from their work together in the 1986 classic Three Amigos! to their more recent on-screen reunion in the hit Hulu series Only Murders in the Building. Their chemistry continues to be the heart of their performances—mixing sharp one-liners, music (with Martin often showcasing his Grammy-winning banjo skills), and their signature self-deprecating humor.

Fans can expect tickets to vary widely in price depending on venue and location, with past shows offering seats starting around $30 and premium packages reaching several hundred dollars. Tickets for the 2026 tour are available now through Ticketmaster and official venue websites.

For audiences eager to see two of comedy’s greatest living legends in action, The Best of Steve Martin and Martin Short Tour promises to be one of 2026’s must-see live events—packed with clever jokes, lively music, and the timeless chemistry that has kept this duo at the top of their game for nearly half a century.
