Graham Kay Headlines the Returning Vail Comedy Show at Eagle River Brewing Company in Gypsum
Award-winning comedian Graham Kay is set to headline the upcoming Vail Comedy Show as it returns to Eagle River Brewing Company in Gypsum this Thursday. The show follows October’s sold-out event featuring Adam Cayton-Holland and continues the series’ mission of bringing top-tier stand-up talent to Eagle County. Before arriving in Gypsum, Kay will perform in Frisco on Wednesday, then move on to Denver over the weekend, and wrap up in Castle Rock on Sunday.
Kay is a seasoned stand-up comedian known for his sharp wit and polished stage presence. He has been praised as “quick, clever and brilliantly funny” by Huffington Post Comedy and has built a strong career spanning television, film, and major comedy platforms. His late-night TV appearances include The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and he also appeared in the comedy film Super Troopers 2. Beyond that, Kay is a regular voice on SiriusXM Radio and a recurring personality on The Nateland Podcast with Nate Bargatze. Born in Ottawa, Canada, he now lives in Brooklyn, New York, continuing to build a nationwide following.

Show founder Mark Masters expressed excitement about Kay’s return to Eagle County, noting Gypsum’s supportive atmosphere for live comedy. Masters, who launched the Vail Comedy Show in 2019, has consistently brought rising comedic talent to the area. The first show featured headliner Derrick Stroup, who has since appeared twice on The Tonight Show and will be headlining six shows at Comedy Works in Denver this December. Masters also highlighted that many comedians who have performed under the Vail Comedy Show banner have gone on to secure major opportunities, including roles in movies and Netflix specials. More information about the show series can be found at the official website, VailComedyShow.com.
The October event at Eagle River Brewing Company was a full house, featuring performers from the Mountain Fresh Comedy Festival, including Adam Cayton-Holland, Chris Cyr, Vinny Seeram, Bob Coakley, Min Ling, and Masters himself as host. Building on that momentum, Thursday’s show will also include a performance by Kyle Ruff, a Steamboat Springs comedian who founded Steamboat Comedy. Ruff organizes more than 25 headliner shows each winter on the ski mountain and in town between January and April.
Audience members are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the venue’s offerings. Eagle River Brewing Company, a well-known local brewery, specializes in handcrafted lagers and ales, with seasonal and creative brews rotating throughout the year. Visitors can expect popular options such as the White Buffalo hefeweizen, Buenos Dias Mexican-style lager, and the Czech Six dark lager, depending on availability. A wood-fired pizza food truck will also be on-site for those who want dinner before the show. Details about the brewery can be explored on their website, EagleRiverBrewing.com.
Tickets for Thursday’s comedy night are priced at $25 for general admission, with prices increasing over time. Early arrival is recommended for the best seats, and note that all guests must exit the showroom during seating—saving seats is not allowed with general admission tickets. VIP seating starts at $30 and increases depending on demand. Reserved seats remain available until 10 minutes before showtime.
At the moment, the Vail Comedy Show has no additional shows scheduled after this event with Graham Kay. To stay updated on future dates and announcements, follow their website or social media channels.
