Adam Shankman’s upcoming drag-filled action comedy has officially been titled STOP! THAT! TRAIN!, and it’s gearing up for a North American theatrical release on May 29, 2026. The movie is being distributed domestically by Bleecker Street, with Universal Pictures Content Group managing international distribution.

Their dream upgrade quickly turns disastrous when a catastrophic weather event known as a “Stormganza” threatens to derail the train. Tess and DeeDee must join forces with a group of snobby first-class attendants—portrayed by Brooke Lynn Hytes, Marcia Marcia Marcia, and Symone—along with President Gagwell, to save the passengers and restore order.

Director Adam Shankman, known for films like Hairspray, shared his excitement about the project, saying he had the “greatest time” working with the cast.
