Comedy for a Cause: Panama City Comedy Club Hosts Two Fundraising Shows for Local Organizations

The Panama City Comedy Club is bringing laughter and generosity together this October with two special shows that aim to support local causes in Bay County. Both events promise a night of clean comedy, community spirit, and charitable giving — all while showcasing some well-known comedic talent.
The first event, titled “Comedy for the Girls,” will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 7 p.m. at House of Henry, located at 461 Harrison Avenue in Panama City. Headlining the show is Jenn Weeks, a comedian who has performed alongside big names like Bruce Bruce, Deon Cole, the late John Witherspoon, Kountry Wayne, and Miss Shirlene.
This event will raise funds for Girls Inc. of Bay County, an organization dedicated to empowering young girls to be strong, smart, and bold. The evening will feature clean, family-friendly comedy, making it suitable for audiences 12 and older. Tickets are $25 per person, and attendees are encouraged to arrive early — seats not claimed 10 minutes before showtime may be resold. The organizers have also reminded guests that audio and video recording are not permitted during the performance.
The second show, “Just for Kicks Comedy – AHS Boys Soccer Fundraiser,” is scheduled for Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 7 p.m. This event will take place at Capt. Anderson’s Event Center, located at 5550 North Lagoon Drive, Suite 2, Panama City Beach. This night of comedy is dedicated to raising funds for the Arnold High School Boys Soccer Team.

The lineup includes comedians Cyrus Steele, Malcolm Xavier, Jason Hedden, and Gale MzUndastood, all bringing their unique humor to the stage. In addition to the performances, the event will also feature a silent auction and a costume contest, adding an extra layer of fun and community engagement to the evening. Like the first show, tickets are $25 and suitable for attendees 12 and up, with the same clean-comedy and no-recording policy in place.
Both shows are part of the Panama City Comedy Club’s ongoing effort to give back to the community through entertainment. These events are not only about sharing laughs but also about making a tangible difference for local organizations and youth programs. By choosing a clean-comedy format, the club ensures that families and all age groups can participate comfortably in these charitable nights out.
The House of Henry show benefits a nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls through education and leadership programs, while the Capt. Anderson’s Event Center event supports local student-athletes in their sports development. Together, they reflect how Panama City’s comedy scene is being used as a platform for positive community impact.
For anyone looking to enjoy great comedy while supporting worthy local causes, these two shows are a perfect fit. Tickets and event details are available on the official Panama City Comedy Club website at panamacitycomedy.com.
