His passing comes 237 days after the death of his wife, Kerri McInally Korin, a loss that friends say deeply affected him throughout the year.

His daughter, Sarah Daily, shared the news in an emotional social media post, confirming that he passed away around 8:30 p.m. with her son and Korin’s grandson, Robert Malia, by his side. She added that Korin’s loyal companion, Max, was also with him in his final moments, and expressed her belief that her parents were reunited again for eternity.

Daily thanked friends, colleagues, and fans for their unwavering support during what she described as an extremely difficult year. She wrote that she was at a loss for words, expressing love for her father and calling him a legend whose impact would live on forever.

Known professionally as Keith Edwards, he appeared in multiple films, including Supergirl (1984), Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987), Three Kinds of Heat (1987), Apprentice to Murder (1988), and The Russia House (1990). These titles appear in public film databases such as IMDb under the Keith Edwards credit listing.

Over his career, he made additional appearances in well-known TV shows such as Law and Order and Oz, further expanding his range as a performer.

On the radio side, Korin entertained listeners for decades across northeastern Pennsylvania. His work included on-air roles at WVIA, WARM, WTLQ (Q102), and WTZR (Z-Rock), and he later hosted morning shows in various markets around the country. His voice and humor became a familiar presence to many who grew up listening to him.

Many in NEPA remember him fondly as the creative mind behind “Heynabonics,” a viral YouTube comedy video that highlighted the region’s unique dialect. The sketch became a local sensation and remains widely shared online.
