Wonkybot Entertainment Unveils Trailer for Stewart St John’s Adult Animated Comedy The Swines
Independent studio Wonkybot Entertainment has officially dropped the trailer for its first-ever adult animated comedy series, The Swines, created by Stewart St John. The show premieres November 19, 2025, exclusively on YouTube via the official Swines channel.
The release marks a big moment for Wonkybot, known for its award-winning cinematic podcasts heard in over 170 countries, as the company makes the leap from audio to animation through its newly launched division, Wonkybot Animation.
From Podcasts to Animation
The Swines is a major step in Wonkybot’s evolution from an audio powerhouse to an animation innovator. The new division aims to build a bridge between the company’s successful storytelling roots and its next creative frontier — visual entertainment.
At its center is the chaotic and hilarious world of Oinkersfield, a planet entirely populated by anthropomorphic pigs. The story follows Jack Swine, a former Swine Corps vet, and his free-spirited wife June, whose quiet life on Hog Heaven Ranch is turned upside down when their Hollywood son Sebastian St. Piggleton (voiced by Stewart St John himself) returns home with his posh partner. His plans to reclaim the family land spark a family feud of epic, pork-sized proportions.
A Personal and Absurd Creation
According to St John, The Swines draws heavily from his own colorful family life. “It’s my way of turning the chaos and love I grew up with into something both universal and completely absurd,” he says. “It’s satire with heart — and a little oink.”
The six-episode series was written, directed, and created by St John and will kick off an expanding creative universe dubbed the Swineverse. A feature film based on the series is already in development for 2026, alongside upcoming books including Lipstick On A Pig: How A Stuck-Up Attitude Can Manifest Your Best Life (October 2025) and The Swines: The Official Guide to Oinkersfield’s Most Outrageous Family (Spring 2026).
A Multi-Platform Experience
Unlike traditional shows built for long-form viewing, The Swines has been designed as a multi-platform experience from day one. Each episode works as both a complete story and a source of short, shareable moments for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels, giving audiences bite-sized content between full episodes.
“It’s a show made for the social-media generation,” says St John. “Fast, funny, and built to live where the audience already is.”
This approach reflects Wonkybot’s shift toward digital-first storytelling, applying the same algorithmic insights driving today’s biggest content platforms — but filtered through the company’s signature, character-driven humor.
The Look and Feel
Visually, The Swines stands out with a distinctive art style based on St John’s original sketches, reimagined by art director Michael Plahuta using a modern animation pipeline. The result, according to the studio, rivals big-budget productions while keeping the handcrafted quality that defines Wonkybot’s work.
“YouTube gives us the freedom to build The Swines from the ground up — directly with fans, on our own terms,” adds Todd Fisher, Wonkybot co-founder and executive producer. “We’re investing our own time, resources, and heart to prove that a small, independent studio can create something that captures audiences and partners alike.”
Expanding the Swineverse
In addition to the show and books, a podcast spinoff titled Lipstick On A Pig with Annie Greyhog will launch shortly after the series premiere on the Wonkybot Podcast Channel. This marks the first time a podcast character from an animated world continues her story in a real-world podcast — bringing Wonkybot’s storytelling full circle: from podcast to animation and back again.
Wonkybot Entertainment is represented by Phillip Rosen and Taylor Condit of The Rosen Law Group.
